Need ITSM - License Manager in Central London for 6+ months

Role: Licensing Manager (ITSM)

Duration: 6+ months
Location: Central London

Job Description and Requirements:
Develop, implement and manage the process for software licensing, utilising the software discovery tools available at the customer. This will include setting up and managing the processes for software licence deployment, providing the functional requirements for the process to be managed in an ITSM tool (BMC Remedy) and reconciling software usage against license agreements and presents findings to customer IT and senior management on an ongoing basis.

• Specialized area which may have diverse functional elements
• Frequently interact with Customer stakeholders and/or functional peer group managers
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Strong analytical/business/reporting skills
• Knowledge of Software Asset management processes and procedures and previous experience in setting this up and managing the process is required
• Knowledge of various licensing models will be beneficial
• Strong presentation skills
• Previous experience with BMC Remedy, Marimba (now called BMC Bladelogic Client Automation) and other asset and software license management will be beneficial. The candidate does not have to be a technical expert in these tools, but functional understanding and capabilities will be beneficial
• Previous Audit experience
